101 Lieder wurden für Rumäniens Vorentscheidung Selec?ia Na?ional? 2026 ausgewählt. Von diesen nominierte eine Jury 68 Acts für das intern ausgetragene Halbfinale. Aus diesem Halbfianle wählt eine Jury am 10. und 11. Februar die zehn Finalisten, die am 12. Februar bekannt gegben werden.
Zu den Halbfinalisten gehören die ehemalige Eurovision-Vertreterin WRS und ehemalige Vorentscheidungs-Teilnehmerinnen Bella Santiago, Adriana Moraru und Andreea D. Etablierte Branchengrößen wie Alejandro Zandes & Emil Rengle, Andreea B?nic?, Alexandra Ungureanu, Alexandra C?pit?nescu, Direc?ia 5, Emy Alupei und Olivia Addams sind ebenfalls bestätigt.

Die Halbfinalisten erreichen nun die nächste Auswahlrunde, die vom 9. bis 11. Februar stattfindet. Dort präsentieren sie ihre Beiträge vor der Jury, die zehn Künstler für das Finale auswählt. Die Finalisten werden am 12. Februar um 20:00 Uhr im Rahmen der Sendung ?Telejurnal? live auf TVR 1, TVR INFO und tvrplus.ro bekanntgegeben. Das Finale wird am 4. März übertragen.
