Die vierte Nacht von Sanremo ging in en Stunden von Freitag auf Samstag zu Ende. Alle Kandidaten und Kandidatinnen konnten sich Duettpartner suchen um italienische und internationale Coversongs zu singen.
Das Ergebnis (ermittelt hälftig aus Radiojury und Televoting) des Duett-Wettbwerbs fließt anders als in den Vorjahen abe nicht ins Gesamtergebnis ein.
